Little Rays of Sunshine

Established in 2014, Little Rays of Sunshine on West 134th Street provides a safe, loving, and engaging environment for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. The daycare emphasizes a play-based curriculum that supports each child's social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development.

As a bilingual program, children are immersed in both English and Spanish, fostering language development and cultural awareness. Daily activities include music, arts and crafts, dramatic play, story time, and group interactions, all designed to stimulate creativity and learning.

Outdoor play is an integral part of the day, with children spending time in nearby parks, weather permitting. Meals are prepared onsite, offering well-balanced, nutritious options for breakfast, lunch, and snacks, adhering to the New York City Food Program guidelines. The daycare is a nut-free facility, ensuring the safety of all children.

Little Rays of Sunshine also offers after-school pickup services from P.S. 161 and P.S. 153 for children aged 5 to 7, providing continued care and enrichment in a familiar environment.
